Each Woven Mirror is individually made by hand from highly polished, mirror-finished stainless steel. Creating its woven form requires extensive forming, handling, and manipulation of a material that naturally resists this process.
As a result, subtle surface marks, fine scratches, slight variations, and other evidence of handcraft are inherent to the making of each piece. These characteristics may be visible under certain lighting conditions and should be understood as part of the work's material expression - not as defects. They distinguish each Woven Mirror as a unique, handmade object.
Every piece is carefully inspected by Bower Studios before leaving our studio. Significant scratches or damage will not pass our quality control. By purchasing this piece, the client acknowledges and accepts the subtle marks and variations that Bower Studios determines to be consistent with the materials, fabrication process, and intended character of the work.
