Production Lead
The Production Lead is responsible for managing the process, workflow, organization and pace of our wood and glass manufacturing facilities.

3+ years of employment-based shop experience
Self-motivated, but enjoys working as part of a team
Highly organized
Ability to reach, bend and lift up to 75lbs
Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus

This full-time position includes the following responsibilities:
Production Lead will be responsible for building and leading a cohesive and efficient team while making decisions consistent with Bower's values, quality and standards as a company.
Work with Production Manager to manage schedule and determine deadlines and information to relay to other team members, and communicate frequently regarding status of order timelines.
Effectively plan daily / weekly schedule to work toward meeting monthly goals.
Reporting to the Bower Head of Production, the Production Lead will strategize how to streamline processes and workflow within their team and throughout the shop.
Keep team members on task and on time. Report any major issues to management.
Lead by example to share the knowledge of production and functioning of the shop.
Oversee cleaning, organization, tool maintenance, and machine maintenance in the wood shop, glass shop and shipping area.
Oversee deliveries, pickups and movement of materials.
Maintain a log of in house supplies with general knowledge of quantity on hand and order materials or relay information to Production Manager so materials can be ordered.
Track stock of glass and wood samples and put them into production when necessary.
Work on the production and completion of mirrors according to Bower standards; The Production Lead has a hands on approach in the making of mirrors and will be fully trained in both the wood and glass shops for this process.
Maintain quality control of pieces as they move through the production process.
Oversee order management and assist with furniture production, as well as in-house builds and custom projects.
Over time, develop AutoCAD skills to produce files for wood and glass CNC.
